Structure + Balance | Kelly Lane Design

Structure and balance are ongoing themes in my life. Managing my time, finding the right balance of fun and work, intimacy and boundary. I’m almost always on the go and in the mornings I don’t take more than 30 minutes to dress myself before I head out the door. With that being said, I am always intentional that my wardrobe is composed with pieces that not only style very easily, but match practically everything else that I own. This helps me to better curate pieces that I truly love and make the most sense in my life.

A cherished new piece that I welcomed into my closet recently is “The One Who Covers || Long Sleeve” by Kelly Lane Design. The neutral color palette and style spoke to my minimalist nature, but the pleating and shape drew me in for other reasons. I always look for quiet details or interesting cuts that transform pieces into conversations. Not to mention the buttery soft, organic cotton that was made-to-order by local designers themselves. Deliberating if I should order this in black too….
